Breakfast: Smoothie (spinach, berries, banana, flax seeds, soy milk)
Lunch: Salad (green leaf lettuce, red onion, balsamic, hummus and falafel spiced walnuts)
Walk with Cammie
Dinner: Springtime Soup

It's gonna stick this time.

Well, detox isn't fun. I'm kicking a soda/pop/pepsi/whateveryoucallit habit (not a bad habit, but a habit nonetheless) as well as working on getting back in the [good] habits of working out daily and eating better. It's not easy but I know I need to do it because I really want to feel good about my health and my body.

Eating well isn't a prison sentence - it can be tasty (like Susan V's soup pictured above). And being active and athletic isn't a chore, it's fun and a great stress reducer.

The last few days have been sunny and beautiful, and I must be solar powered because I feel like a different person. :)

♥♥♥ sunshine ♥♥♥

Even though we got 12+ inches of snow Friday and yesterday - today is a beautiful celebration of the return of the sun to my waking life.

Cammie and I went for a cold and breezy but sunny walk today and it was amazing. I cannot explain how much better I feel now that we have the extra daylight in the evenings.

Going to work on being around here more. Summer is coming and I want to feel and look my best!
